the following questions:
1.  What is the research question for the study? Is it clearly stated?  Can it be empirically tested?
2.  What type of research design was used? Is is appropriate to answering the question?
3.  What type of sampling procedure was used?  What are its limitations?
4.  Are the findings clearly and accurately presented? What answer was given to the research question by the findings?
5.  How do the strengths or limitations of the study affect the conclusion?
