presentation will count toward the problem grading.
1.- Lenses: design a system in which you need to use two converging (convex) and one diverging (concave) to increase the beam size, that is, spread parallel light rays of a beam into a larger cross-sectional area. Draw the complete system of 3 lenses and trace two parallel rays limiting the beam coming in from the left throughout the system.
2.- Diffraction: what is the diffraction limit, what is its implication in building optical instruments such as a microscope, and a telescope.

Interference: explain in details at least
three practical applications of EM wave interference.
