Rules:

-Collaboration between team members is encouraged

-The authors should present the solution on a blank sheet with their names on it, submissions should be attached together by team

-Solutions should include “self-explained” diagrams/sketches, with minimal wording. Neat presentation will count toward the problem grading.

1.- Design a method to calculate the force your hand exerts  on a coin, used in previous extra credit problems, based on work done and conservation of energy.

2.- Discuss all possible causes that may make the method discussed in pp3 Q7.1, i.e. finding the right initial height of the weight through the formulas of conservation of energy described so that the ball will hit a specified target certain location, not working. Be specific.

3.- Research and describe in your own words all physics involved in designing a rollercoaster.

4.- Use the fact that g2=GME/(RE+h)2  at the top of Mount Everest where h is its height, can you explain why we can’t boil an egg up there.
