-Solutions
should include “self-explained” diagrams/sketches, with minimal wording. Neat
presentation will count toward the problem grading.
1.- Discuss an application of conservation of energy that has not
been explained in class or in the textbook during the chapter or through a
homework problem.
2.- Explain tidal waves, what make them, why they are so in
different phases of the moon.
3.- Describe two elastic
collisions and two inelastic collisions that happen in real life. In each
inelastic collision explain where did the lost energy went,
in each elastic collision explain what energy is conserved.
