Guidelines for Final Exam

Fall ‘06

1.- Please sign up for a slot to take the final during the last class. Please allow a window of +- 15 minutes around your time slot.

2.- Logbook presentation is required as you take the final. If you made substantial improvements in the logbook and you did answer questions from November 30 and on, make sure to let the instructor know.

3.- One question will be picked randomly from the list of logbook questions or a simple hands-on LabVIEW question related to the CW’s we did. In answering the question, you will be graded based on:

a.- Short, specific, and to-the-point answers

b.- Do not ask for a hint unless you really need to, a hint will carry a 25% deduction. If a question is for clarification, no deduction will be applied.

c.- You will get 25% bonus if you answered the Logbook questions after Nov. 30

4.- You should have a feeling of doing well or not in the final exam immediately.

5.- The Logbook and final exam counts toward 20% of the course grade.

6.- Final grades will be posted on our website and into the university grading system by Dec. 24.
