CW 9

(In-Class-Work 9)

1.      Use your VI created in CW 8, set h0=0.5m, run the VI in continuous mode and input values into v0 to find its maximum value (this limit for v0 is due to the maximum height of 2.75m) with up to three decimal digits (change the default representation of 2 to 3 digits for the v0 numeric control: right-click on it, select Format & Precision). Do Operate/Set Current Values as Default, then Save the file as CW9_yourlastname, with the Front Panel showing the max value obtained for v0. Print a copy to submit.

b)  Run the VI to find ten pair of values (v0, t), with v0 being a number between 0 and its maximum value obtained in a), as equally spaced as possible.  Show the data as a table inside a “text box” in the front panel using the Text Tool. Save the LabVIEW file again, and print a copy to submit. Remember to keep a copy of all the LabVIEW files for use in the future classworks.

*Remember that this is an individual work (turn it in, as instructed, with your name and date). Home-works and class-works count 20% toward the course grade. Class-works are done in class.
