Your user name should be similar to your login name for your @umb.edu email account. Typically this looks like: firstname.lastname. This should be lower case.
The password you have for this server is different from the password used for the email server. Use our password reminder page to retrieve this password if you don't know it. When you update directory information, you can change your password if you want.
Last Name - This is your last name. Any middle name or initial should be included under your first name listing.
First Name - This is your first name and any middle name or initial you would like listed.
Password - This is the password for accessing the directory. It will change once you submit. Your FTP password will also change but only after about 24 hours. If you forget your password, please use our password reminder page.
Type password again - Your password confirmation.
Phone number - These three boxes represent your area code, exchange and number. On campus this should be 617-287- and your four-digit extension.
Room - Room location. Please try to be as complete as possible in identifying the room number.
Faculty Rank - Correctly identify yourself as professor, assistant professor, lecturer, etc.
Education - Typically this is a listing of a faculty member's doctoral conferring institution. In some cases faculty also list where they received their master's degree.
Expertise - This is the faculty member's area(s) of academic expertise
Email - Your preferred contact email.
Home Page URL - If you have a homepage you would like list, enter the absolute URL (begin with http://) here. This will then display as your home page link..
Additional Information - You can enter up to 250 words of additional information here. For example, you can refer to your office hours, upcoming classes, sabaticals or other important information.
