Menstrual Activist Materials
Pull the Plug zine cover. Erin Wilkins. Erin was the first menstrual activist I met for an informal interview. She was incredibly helpful and shared with me stickers she created to slap onto conventional FemCare dispensers in public bathrooms (and elsewhere) and bigger posters she and pals wheatplastered around Boston. She also shared her zine, Pull the Plug, pictured here. Erin’s zine represents the nearly 40 menstrual health and politics zines in my collection.
