“Bitchy”, 1997. Credit: Adee (conception)/ Nicole (execution) (The Bloodsisters Project) I grabbed this off a PortaJane door at the Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival; it advertises the Bloodsisters booth in the festival Craft Bazaar. “Bitchy” is one of several images the Bloodsisters used in their fundraising product line: Urban Armor (t-shirts, panties, menstrual cloth pads, etc) Many of these images are also found in the Bloodsisters zine “Red Alert.” The back of my Bitchy T-shirt reads: “Because we have a right to bitch.” Amen.
